Welcome to our consultation website which aims to provide more information on Mapledean Project’s proposals for Land at Greenway Lane, Buriton.

Following the close of our public consultation in December 2020, and having carefully reviewed your feedback, Mapledean Projects recently submitted a planning application to SDNPA for 10 new homes at land off Greenway Lane. Details of the application are available to view on SDNPA’s statutory register of planning applications under application reference number SDNP/21/02014/FUL.
We will update this website with further information as the application progresses. You are still able to view the proposals on the Virtual Exhibition page of this website.

Site & Project Overview
The site is a triangle shaped paddock that lies to the west of Buriton and is bordered by residential development to the east, open fields to the north and Greenway lane to the west.
The site sits within the South Downs National Park and has been allocated for residential development of up to 10 units in the recently adopted South Downs Local Plan.
Our proposals comprise 10 high-quality homes, including a number of affordable homes prioritised to local people, to deliver much needed housing in area.
The scheme will provide good levels of car parking for homeowners and visitors, including electric charging points and new access via Greenway Lane.
The retention of the trees and hedges will ensure the creation of a biodiverse scheme and retains a green buffer with the surrounding rural land.
Public Consultation
Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, Mapledean Projects will not be able to hold a physical public exhibition for members of the community to view our proposals.
However, we are committed to consulting with the local community regarding our proposals and you can view the consultation materials on the “Virtual Exhibition“ page of this website.
The deadline for providing feedback was midnight on 21st December 2020 and so we are no longer accepting formal feedback. Please feel free to email any questions to feedback@consultation-online.co.uk.
All feedback will be carefully considered by Mapledean Projects in further refining the proposals before a planning application is submitted to South Downs National Park Authority (SDNPA).
